Leasing Professional for Alta 87 Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for the Alta 87 community, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention. This role involves direct interaction with prospects, managing the leasing process, and ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.

Required profile

• Ability to greet and qualify prospective residents.
• Capability to conduct tours and present community amenities.
• Proficiency in processing applications and performing credit/background checks.
• Attention to detail for apartment inspections and move‑in readiness.
• Awareness of local market trends and competitor activity.

Required skills

• Experience with OneSite property management software.
• Experience with Yardi property management software.
• Familiarity with internet marketing platforms such as Craigslist.
• Familiarity with social media marketing tools like Facebook.
