Leasing Professional – Encore at the Park

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for the stabilized garden‑style community Encore at the Park in Durham, NC. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention targets while delivering a high‑quality leasing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments, and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease documents, move‑in packages, and ensure smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before occupancy, coordinate any maintenance needed to achieve move‑in ready condition.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leasing, resident relations, or property sales.
• Strong knowledge of local rental market conditions and competitor activity.
• Ability to conduct effective community tours and handle lease documentation accurately.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation with a focus on resident satisfaction.
