Leasing Professional – Charlotte, NC

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal efforts for the Savoy community in Charlotte, NC. You will be responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through proactive leasing activities and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure units are ready for residents.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong ability to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Excellent customer‑service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics and competitor activity.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease preparation, background screening, and move‑in inspections.

Required skills

• Experience using property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
