Leasing Professional – Bella Mirage (Temporary)

About the role

The Leasing Professional supports Bella Mirage’s marketing, leasing and renewal efforts to meet occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention targets. The role handles the full leasing cycle from prospecting to move‑in and works closely with maintenance and management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any needed repairs with maintenance, and ensure units are ready for new residents.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Support lease renewals by preparing renewal letters, contacting residents ahead of move‑out dates, and securing signed agreements.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses/certifications required for leasing, plus a valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays and respond to resident calls as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook and email campaigns.
