Leasing Professional – Avana Almaden

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction for the Avana Almaden community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospecting and tours to lease signing and move‑in, while supporting resident retention throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, record traffic, and manage leasing data.

Required profile

• Entry‑level experience in leasing, sales, or customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule.
• Commitment to delivering excellent resident experiences.
