Leasing Coordinator – Residential Property Management

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Leasing Coordinator to oversee the full leasing cycle for residential properties, from the first inquiry to move‑in. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, communicates clearly, and can turn leads into qualified tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to prospect inquiries via phone, email, SMS, and leasing platforms.
• Qualify prospects against property requirements and rental criteria.
• Schedule and conduct property showings, virtual tours, and follow‑ups.
• Manage leads in the CRM, maintaining accurate interaction records.
• Process rental applications, coordinate screening, verification, and documentation.
• Prepare lease agreements, renewals, and move‑in paperwork.
• Coordinate move‑in logistics such as deposits, utilities, keys, and onboarding.
• Maintain up‑to‑date listings with correct pricing, photos, and availability.
• Support lease renewals and identify opportunities to reduce vacancy.
• Ensure compliance with fair‑housing and rental regulations and provide regular performance reports.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in leasing, property management, or real estate.
• Strong understanding of the residential leasing process and related KPIs.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proven sales, negotiation, and customer‑service abilities.
• Highly organized with strong follow‑up and time‑management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple prospects and applications simultaneously.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote or fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM or leasing/property‑management software (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, Propertyware, Yardi, Rent Manager).
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
