Learning Quality Consultant – Teaching & Learning Innovation

About the role

The Mays Business School seeks a Learning Quality Consultant to elevate learning standards across its top‑ranked programs. You will act as a subject‑matter expert, guiding educational design, digital accessibility, and user‑experience consistency for online, hybrid, and face‑to‑face courses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultancy on instructional design quality, digital accessibility, and Flex Online branding.
• Collaborate with the Teaching & Learning Innovation team to develop learner‑centered experiences.
• Conduct course reviews, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
• Leverage learning analytics and outcomes data to drive continuous improvement.
• Support the creation and refinement of quality‑assurance rubrics and review processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, or related field.
• At least three years of experience in instructional design, learning quality assurance, or higher‑education development.
• Preferred: Doctoral degree, Quality Matters certification, digital accessibility certification, project‑management certification, and experience with AI‑driven analytics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online learning platforms.
• Knowledge of Quality Matters or similar QA rubrics.
• Expertise in digital accessibility standards and tools.
• Project management competencies.
• Experience applying AI for data analytics and reporting.
