Lead Trial Lawyer

About the role

Zinda Law Group, a fast‑growing personal injury firm, is seeking a Lead Trial Lawyer to head a small docket of high‑value cases. The role blends adherence to proven litigation playbooks with the freedom to innovate, offering the chance to generate $3‑4 million in fees annually.

Key responsibilities

• Manage personal injury matters from client intake through trial and verdict.
• Draft, file, and respond to motions with strong legal analysis.
• Develop and execute persuasive strategies using TRCP and Rules of Evidence.
• Conduct depositions, take and defend testimony, and present cases to juries.
• Maintain close, professional relationships with clients throughout the litigation process.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Minimum 1 year of plaintiff or defense personal injury litigation (preferred).
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas, Arizona, Colorado, or New Mexico bar.
• Demonstrated jury trial experience.
• Strong organizational skills, a disciplined work ethic, and openness to feedback.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Texas Rules of Civil Procedure (TRCP).
• Deep knowledge of Rules of Evidence.
• Expertise in motion drafting and response.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Jury trial competence.
• Spanish language proficiency (bilingual) – a plus.
