About the role

Cadence Academy Preschool in Raleigh, NC is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher for its 2‑year‑old classroom. You will guide a small team of educators to create a safe, nurturing environment that supports early childhood development.

Key responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum with your teaching team.
• Observe and support children’s interests and developmental milestones.
• Communicate effectively with families about each child’s progress.
• Promote positive social behaviors and model respectful interactions.
• Plan a balanced daily schedule mixing indoor/outdoor and active/quiet activities.

Required profile

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Meet state requirements for lead preschool teachers.
• Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a preschool lead teacher.
• Strong classroom management skills (preferred).
• Flexibility to work within business hours.
