Lead Security Technician

About the role

Join our team and help keep your community safe! We are looking for an experienced, lead‑level Alarm Technician with strong programming experience to protect homes and businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Lead security projects from start to finish.
• Install, program, and test wired and wireless devices.
• Activate new systems for monitoring and perform system takeovers.
• Complete post‑installation checklists and documentation updates.
• Collaborate with other teams and respond promptly to managed‑services notifications.

Required profile

• 5+ years in the alarm/security industry.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work on construction sites, climb ladders, pull cabling, and use power tools.
• Steady work history and high emotional intelligence.

Required skills

• Programming Elk, Honeywell, and DSC security systems.
• Blueprint interpretation.
• Installation and testing of wired and wireless security devices.
• Proficient use of power tools.
