Lead Product Designer

About the role

Capsule is building AI‑powered video creation tools for enterprise teams and is backed by top investors. As a Lead Product Designer you will join the founding team, work directly with the CEO, and shape the creative video tools of the future.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute all design projects (≈80% product, 20% brand/marketing/sales).
• Collaborate closely with co‑founders to devise elegant, practical design solutions.
• Generate ideas that expand product capabilities and delight customers.
• Rapidly produce multiple concepts and interactive prototypes.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and refine features.
• Build and mentor a world‑class design team (3‑5 hires planned this year).

Required profile

• Visionary designer who can articulate ideas with detail and precision.
• Obsessive about the smallest details while thinking big.
• Thrives in the fast‑paced environment of an early‑stage startup.
• Swiss‑army‑knife of design: UX, UI, motion, visual.
• Figma expert who can prototype and test designs with others.
• Enjoys motion thinking and has an interest in video/animation.
• Collaborative, zero‑ego attitude and high emotional intelligence.
