Lead Personal Care Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Oakleaf Village, providing direct resident care and supporting their mental, physical, spiritual, emotional, and social wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and complete task assignments in coordination with PCA staff.
• Attend weekly manager meetings and family/resident care conferences.
• Provide personal hygiene, grooming, and physical care to residents.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Encourage resident participation in activities and assist with transportation.
• Maintain a positive environment and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in operating a computer.
• Organized, self‑motivated, and able to communicate effectively.
• Completion of first aid training and certification.
• Ability to read, interpret work instructions and apply basic math skills.

Required skills

• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Computer operation skills.
