Lead Medical Director, Product Development, Hematology

About the role

The Lead Medical Director will guide the clinical development strategy and execution for late‑stage hematology programs, ensuring alignment with overall product goals and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Clinical Development Plan (CDP) for assigned molecules/indications.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, including business development, research, commercial, and legal teams.
• Provide clinical science input for Phase I‑III protocol design and regulatory submissions.
• Lead medical monitoring activities and engage with clinical sites, investigators, and key opinion leaders.
• Contribute to analytics, KOL development, and publication strategies.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible MD/PhD in Oncology & Hematology.
• 5+ years post‑graduate clinical/scientific research or trial experience.
• 3+ years in biopharmaceutical clinical development, focusing on late‑stage drug development.
• 2+ years experience engaging with clinical sites and investigators.
• Proven ability to create clinical development strategies leading to label‑enabling outcomes.

Required skills

• Experience with Phase II‑III drug development processes.
• Medical monitoring and regulatory submission expertise.
• Strong data analysis and scientific writing capabilities.
