Lead Maintenance Technician – Property Management

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee the technical and mechanical upkeep of a large residential community. You will ensure that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s high standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance work orders.
• Diagnose and resolve defects in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
• Manage the turn process for a 596‑unit property, coordinating vendors and internal teams.
• Provide on‑call support Thursday through Monday and act as a point of contact for emergency issues.
• Lead and mentor junior maintenance staff, preparing them for future leadership roles.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a multi‑unit residential setting.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale turn processes and vendor relationships.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a focus on safety and quality.
