Lead Business Analyst

About the role

Nu, which serves more than 140 million customers, is hiring a Lead Business Analyst in Miami. The role leads deep-dive analyses on complex business questions, turning unstructured data into clear, executive-ready recommendations, and runs 2-3 projects with ambiguous objectives together with Engineering, Product, Controllership and BCOs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze market and onchain trends, including blockchain transactions, liquidity, token activity and market shifts, to uncover consumer behavior insights.
• Run 2-3 initiatives with ambiguous objectives and scope, working with Engineering, Product, Controllership and BCOs.
• Raise the bar on KRIs and controls: thresholds, signal logic, data quality and service interactions, linked to impact and escalated to leadership.
• Own core metrics and dashboards as the single point of ownership.
• Shape how the company uses AI by building shared prompts, skills, automated routines or bots.
• Build financial and strategic models, scenario analyses and market sizing to evaluate new product features and international growth.
• Develop clean data pipelines with efficient SQL and Python code, establishing reliable ETL workflows.
• Integrate AI copilots and automated workflows responsibly into daily analytics.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal and Compliance on the commercial and operational impact of regulatory updates and business strategy.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in quantitative analysis, probability, statistical modeling and financial mechanics applied to complex business problems.
• Hands-on experience designing controlled A/B tests, measuring statistical significance and setting guardrail metrics.
• Experience working alongside product managers and engineers in an iterative, fast-paced product environment.
• Proven ability to turn complex quantitative findings into concise data stories that influence stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and Python for data extraction, manipulation and pipeline development.
• Statistical modeling and causal inference.
