Lead AWS DevOps Engineer

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to join its Financial Services unit. The role will focus on designing, building and operating cloud‑native solutions for banking, wealth management and insurance clients, leveraging AI, data and advanced automation.

Key responsibilities

• Create business requirement documents covering functional and non‑functional needs gathered from client workshops and interviews.
• Design high‑level and low‑level software architectures, validate prototypes and incorporate feedback.
• Develop complex applications and define coding standards aligned with architectural specifications.
• Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies that meet functional and non‑functional criteria.
• Guide the technical implementation of system infrastructure and new software deployments, ensuring timely roll‑out.
• Coordinate system roll‑outs to minimise operational disruption.
• Analyse incident trends, identify root causes and establish monitoring to prevent future issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Lead AWS DevOps Engineer or equivalent senior technical role.
• Strong background in delivering cloud‑based solutions for financial services or similar regulated industries.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and lead technical discussions with client stakeholders.
