Lead Aide – Certified

About the role

National Church Residences Community Wellness is seeking a Certified Lead Aide to join its senior living community in Columbus, Ohio. This full‑time position works Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm, with occasional weekend coverage, and focuses on delivering high‑quality personal care and support to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct care such as lifting, positioning, bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
• Respond promptly to call lights, maintain a clean environment, and engage residents in meaningful activities.
• Lead the shift by assigning tasks, mentoring staff, and covering staffing gaps as needed.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, team members, and supervisors.
• Assist clinical staff with vital signs, weight measurements, room preparation, and onboarding.
• Document care accurately in electronic medical records and follow safety, infection control, and emergency protocols.
• Support food service tasks, including meal preparation, serving, and after‑meal care.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
• STNA certification preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring residents.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to resident dignity and confidentiality.
