Laundry Attendant – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Laundry Attendant ensures a continuous supply of clean linens, towels, and uniforms for Hilton Garden Inn Mount Laurel, supporting the Housekeeping Department and maintaining Hilton brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold and organize hotel linens, towels, bedding, uniforms and other laundry items.
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, ironers and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect items for stains, damage or wear and remove unsuitable items from circulation.
• Maintain inventory levels of clean linens and communicate shortages to management.
• Deliver clean linens to storage areas and housekeeping closets, and keep laundry areas clean and hazard‑free.
• Monitor equipment, report malfunctions, and follow chemical handling and safety procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently in a fast‑paced environment, and maintain dependable attendance.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods and work in a warm, chemical‑exposed environment.

Required skills

• Operate commercial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers, folding machines).
• Apply appropriate stain‑treatment methods and laundering procedures.
