Guest Service Agent at Hilton Garden Inn

About the role

The Guest Service Agent is the first point of contact for hotel guests, responsible for delivering a positive experience in line with Hilton brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently.
• Handle reservations, modifications, cancellations and special requests.
• Answer phone calls and provide information on hotel services, amenities and local attractions.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly, escalating when necessary.
• Process payments, maintain cash handling procedures and balance cash drawers.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure rooms are ready.
• Promote Hilton Honors enrollment and hotel services.
• Complete daily reports, logs and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service or front‑desk experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn hotel property management systems.
• Experience with Hilton OnQ or similar hotel systems (preferred).
• Cash handling and basic accounting skills.
