Kids Camp Attendant – Part‑time

About the role

The Kids Camp Attendant oversees safety, enjoyment, and participation in camp activities for members’ children, delivering personal, gracious, and professional service while ensuring the highest level of safety and supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Lead games, sports, arts and crafts, and other activities for children ages 5‑13.
• Supervise and transport participants to off‑site events using company vehicles while complying with safety policies.
• Participate in overnight camping experiences as needed.
• Maintain organized appearance of the camp area and set‑up/break‑down daily activities.
• Report safety or maintenance concerns to the Director of Outdoor Pursuits.
• Assist with inventory counts and stay current on recreational equipment.
• Demonstrate and train others on safe use of outdoor pursuits activities.
• Maintain AED, First Aid, and CPR certifications and attend department meetings.

Required profile

• No specific degree required; a Bachelor’s in early education is desirable.
• CIT/Counselor experience and prior guest‑service experience preferred.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
• Strong swimmer comfortable in the ocean.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and long hours as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift items up to 50 lb.
