Key Carrier / Coordinator – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

The Key Carrier/Coordinator position at TJX Companies supports store operations by alternating between Coordinator duties and Key Carrier leadership responsibilities. This role ensures smooth daily activities, exceptional customer service, and adherence to company policies across all store areas.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty, overseeing opening/closing procedures and store compliance.
• Maintain accurate associate coverage and ensure operational procedures are followed.
• Address immediate customer service issues, provide coaching, and deliver feedback.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs, support shrink‑reduction initiatives, and uphold safety standards.
• Communicate priorities and progress updates to management and associates.
• Partner with management on associate training needs.

Required profile

• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
• Team player with strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing directions and unexpected situations.
• At least 1 year retail experience and 6 months in a leadership role.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
