Junior Technology Analyst (TS/SCI)

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Junior Technology Analyst to provide analytical support for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). The work protects U.S. naval and maritime technologies, supports warfare integration for existing Navy programs and provides context for future capability development. The analyst also produces CFIUS inputs, intelligence reports, threat assessments, concepts of operations and briefings for law enforcement, policy, Navy acquisition and capability sponsor customers.

Key responsibilities

• Produce all-source analysis of current and future leading-edge technologies and their military applications worldwide
• Project the discovery, development and deployment of advanced technologies and their impact on U.S. forces
• Assess risks of transfer and diversion of defense and dual-use U.S. technologies and their national security implications
• Produce intelligence for the National, Defense and Acquisition communities
• Analyze threats, transfers and vulnerabilities to defense supply chains

Required profile

• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI) and ability to obtain a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and at least 3 years of related experience, or 7 years of experience in the labor category instead
• Working knowledge of IC and DoD classification guidelines
• Understanding of intelligence collection capabilities, limitations and reporting, and of developing collection requirements

Required skills

• Structured analytic techniques such as Analysis of Competing Hypotheses, Devil's Advocacy, High-Impact/Low-Impact Analysis, Red Team Analysis and Alternative Futures Analysis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to write clear, concise analytic reports and briefings
