Junior Merchandiser

About the role

The Junior Merchandiser will support product allocation, replenishment and seasonal merchandising initiatives for Versace’s luxury retail business. You will act as a key partner in inventory management, ensuring the right products are in the right stores at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Support stock allocation and replenishment across stores by style, category and business need.
• Manage product flow from initial allocation through end‑of‑life, including consolidations and transfers.
• Execute weekly allocations for new seasonal deliveries, carry‑over product and replenishment needs.
• Partner with Logistics and Retail Leadership to coordinate shipment timing, capacity and in‑store delivery priorities.
• Review, analyse and respond to store product requests and event‑related merchandising needs.
• Monitor in‑season product performance and recommend actions to maximise revenue.
• Collaborate with the Global Merchandising team at HQ to communicate regional product needs.
• Prepare product training materials and help communicate buying strategy to cross‑functional teams.
• Support buying and allocation for licensed categories such as Fragrances, Watches and Sunglasses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (business or fashion merchandising preferred).
• 3‑4 years of experience in a fast‑paced, sales‑driven environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with keen awareness of customer and brand profile.
• Team‑oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work onsite in the New York office 3‑4 days per week.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
