Junior Corporate Associate Attorney – Mergers & Acquisitions

About the role

This position offers an early‑career attorney the chance to work on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and general corporate matters within a collaborative Atlanta‑based law firm. You will partner with senior lawyers from initial diligence through closing, gaining hands‑on experience in all phases of deal execution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with M&A and private‑equity transactions, including drafting and reviewing transaction documents.
• Conduct, organize, and manage legal due‑diligence efforts.
• Support signing, closing, and post‑closing processes.
• Coordinate transaction deliverables and maintain deal documentation.
• Assist with general corporate and governance matters.
• Utilize legal‑technology and AI‑supported tools to improve diligence, document review, and execution.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of corporate transactional experience, preferably in M&A, private equity, or general corporate work.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid academic credentials and a JD.
• Previous experience working in a law firm.
• Interest in leveraging legal technology and AI tools.
