Junior Construction Estimator

About the role

Duraframe LLC is seeking a motivated Junior Construction Estimator to join its team. The role offers hands‑on estimating experience, direct mentorship, and a clear path for growth in the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates that win work.
• Analyze construction drawings, engineering plans, and specifications.
• Perform detailed framing material take‑offs.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier pricing.
• Support purchasing decisions and cost validation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Pre‑Construction, Production, and Project Management.
• Assist with project scheduling and submittals.
• Contribute in internal and client project meetings.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of construction and framing practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with confidence.
• Strong math, analytical, and critical‑thinking skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and professionalism.
• Associate’s degree in Construction Management (preferred) or equivalent industry experience.
• Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic.
