Job Captain / Intermediate Architect

About the role

Gehry Partners is seeking experienced Job Captains and Intermediate Architects to join its Los Angeles office. You will contribute to the design and construction documentation of complex, high‑profile projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design and construction documents for a variety of building types.
• Design, document, detail, and coordinate complex architectural projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using physical models, 3D modeling, and advanced software.
• Lead project segments, ensuring technical quality and problem‑solving throughout the design process.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of professional architectural experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Proven experience in designing, documenting, and coordinating complex projects.

Required skills

• Advanced or expert proficiency in Revit.
• Expertise in Rhino and AutoCAD.
• Ability to work across multiple design platforms.
