Java Technology Architect – Multiple US Locations

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Technology Architect to join its Financial Services unit. The role will support digital transformation projects for banking, wealth management and insurance clients across multiple US locations.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyse system requirements focusing on performance, security and scalability.
• Design and propose solution architectures, contribute to technology framework development and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Evaluate market technologies and perform comparative analysis to recommend optimal architectural solutions.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concept implementations.
• Ensure knowledge transfer, quality standards and automation of build and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Monitor system performance of implemented solutions and identify potential risks.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Java full‑stack development and architecture design.
• Proven ability to work with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices and API management.
• Familiarity with relational and non‑relational databases.
• Knowledge of front‑end technologies such as Angular.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to interact with clients and development teams.
