Java Full Stack Engineer with Python and AWS

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer with strong Python and AWS expertise to join its Financial Services unit in Plano, Texas. The role involves developing and enhancing digital solutions for banking, wealth management and insurance clients, leveraging AI, cloud and data‑driven technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Document business requirements and contribute to elicitation activities.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture architectural decisions.
• Develop new features and integrate updates in Java‑based applications while ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, maintain code repositories and apply continuous delivery practices.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results and coordinate bug‑fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks for smooth transitions.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing techniques and support activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑stack development using Java and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Python for backend or scripting tasks.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS core services and cloud‑based deployments.
• Familiarity with Angular (various versions) and UI markup languages.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, especially continuous delivery and deployment.
