Java Full Stack Engineer (Python, AWS) – Multiple US Locations

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer to join its Financial Services unit. The role involves building and enhancing applications that leverage Java, Python and AWS across several US locations, including Hartford, CT, Raleigh, NC and Richardson, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions, capture software specifications and create process documentation.
• Develop, refine and document code for new software applications following detailed design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyse outcomes, report defects and support continuous improvement of software performance.
• Assist with the integration of new features and ensure smooth transitions within existing system infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, providing prompt issue resolution and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Systematically document coding practices, testing methodologies and technical solutions to enrich the team’s knowledge repository.
