Java Full Stack Engineer – Hartford, CT

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Full Stack Engineer to join its Financial Services unit. The role will support digital transformation projects for banking, wealth management and insurance clients across the United States, primarily based in Hartford, CT.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in design discussions, translate specifications into detailed process documentation.
• Develop, refine and document code for new applications using Java, Spring Boot and Angular, following design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyse results, report defects and support software performance enhancements.
• Assist with integration of new features into existing systems and ensure smooth transitions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, resolve issues promptly and maintain comprehensive maintenance documentation.
• Document coding practices, testing methodologies and technical solutions to enrich the team knowledge base.
