About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Engineer to join its Financial Services unit in Charlotte, NC. You will work on AI‑driven, cloud‑based solutions that help banks, wealth managers and insurers accelerate growth and improve customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements as part of the elicitation process.
• Facilitate design discussions, capture decisions and guide the technical team.
• Develop, integrate and maintain new features in existing Java applications.
• Conduct code reviews, manage code repositories and ensure system stability.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results and coordinate bug‑fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Comfort translating complex requirements into actionable technical tasks.
