Java C++ Architect – Richardson, TX

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java C++ Architect to join its Engineering unit in Richardson, Texas. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure and high‑performance solutions for telecom OSS/BSS customers, leveraging a data‑first engineering approach.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to capture and analyse system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide architectural recommendations, contribute to technology framework development and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Evaluate market technologies and tools, perform comparative analysis and propose optimal architectural solutions.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concept implementations.
• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer, adhere to quality standards and support build‑deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyse system performance post‑implementation and identify potential risks.
• Create architectural artifacts and enrich the team’s knowledge repository.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to design scalable and secure architectures.
• Experience assessing multiple technologies, tools and frameworks to recommend optimal solutions.
• Understanding of integration patterns and enterprise architecture principles.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and knowledge transfer.
