Janitor

About the role

As a Janitor at RWB Thrift, you will be responsible for keeping the thrift store clean, organized, and welcoming for customers. You will work on the sales floor, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the sales floor, restrooms, break rooms, and other store areas.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and surface wiping.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper waste separation.
• Collect and return shopping carts or baskets to designated locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lb and frequently exert up to 25 lb of force.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Good manual dexterity and balance for safe movement on various surfaces.
• Reliability and ability to work independently in a retail environment.
