IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide first‑line and second‑line technical assistance, maintain hardware and software assets, and ensure the reliability of our IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues reported via tickets, email, or phone.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and user accounts with appropriate permissions.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN connectivity and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Deploy and update applications such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and manage ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or Zendesk.
• Implement security policies, patch updates, antivirus solutions, and support identity and access management.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Effective time management and problem‑solving capability.

Required skills

• Operating systems: Windows, macOS, Linux.
• Networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Ticketing systems: ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Zendesk.
• Productivity suites: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace.
• Hardware: desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices.
• Network equipment: routers, switches, firewalls.
• Security tools: antivirus, patch management, IAM.
