IT Site Support Analyst

About the role

Michelin is hiring an IT Site Support Analyst for its Anderson, South Carolina plant, which is the largest rubber manufacturing plant in the world and produces rubber, metallic and textile tissues for tires. The analyst keeps IT systems available for all departments so they can perform their work, and leads IT project management while ensuring service levels and user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IT project management while ensuring service level and user satisfaction.
• Manage site Layer 1 IT telephony infrastructure and audiovisual (AV) management.
• Support site IT network access layer management.
• Provide leadership for BT network switch modifications.
• Act as the main interface between Information Systems (IS) and the business power users and owners of applications.

Required profile

• IT project management experience.
• Prior experience supporting IS operations in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Willingness to provide on-call support or deploy outside normal hours and weekends when needed.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and turn them into functional specifications, and to work autonomously with minimal guidance.
• Daily agile and lean practices, attention to detail and data accuracy.
