IT Help Desk Technician – Level 2

About the role

Millennium Space Systems, a fast‑growing small‑satellite company within Boeing Defense, Space and Security, is looking for an IT Help Desk Technician (Level 2) to provide on‑site technical support to employees and contractors in El Segundo, CA. The role focuses on ensuring users can effectively operate their PCs and related technology.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve Help Desk tickets using the ServiceNow ticketing system.
• Respond to user issues via phone, email, and chat, documenting all interactions.
• Run diagnostics and troubleshoot hardware, software, mobile devices, and printers.
• Support new‑employee onboarding and install, configure, or repair Dell computers running Windows 10/11.
• Escalate complex problems to higher‑level IT support as needed.
• Follow up with users to confirm issue resolution.
• Lift and move equipment up to 25 lb as required.

Required profile

• Technical degree or at least 2 years of help‑desk experience.
• Availability for overtime when needed.
• Highly organized with strong ticket‑management skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance after start date.
