ISSO 2 - TS/SCI w/ Poly

About the role

Amentum is seeking an ISSO 2 to support an information assurance program for a program, organization, system or enclave. The role covers the full spectrum of information systems security, from policy support to vulnerability assessments and certification and accreditation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the proposal, coordination, implementation and enforcement of information systems security policies, standards and methodologies
• Maintain the operational security posture of an information system or program
• Assist in managing security aspects of the system and perform day-to-day security operations
• Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet requirements for processing classified information
• Perform vulnerability and risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation
• Provide configuration management for security software, hardware and firmware, and manage changes while assessing their security impact
• Prepare and review documentation such as System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages and System Requirements Traceability Matrices, supporting NIST RMF security authorization

Required profile

• TS/SCI poly clearance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or four years of ISSO experience in addition to ten years of ISSO experience (total 14 years)
• At least two of: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation, communication protocols, and encryption techniques/tools
• DoD 8570 IAM Level I or higher certification
