Irrigation Service Technician (Full‑Time, Year‑Round)

About the role

The Irrigation Service Technician performs seasonal services, system inspections, and repairs while adhering to company standards for quality, safety, and customer service. You will work with a larger crew to complete tasks efficiently and ensure irrigation systems operate effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Perform spring startups, mid‑season inspections, winterizations, and adjust smart controllers.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair residential or commercial irrigation components such as sprinkler heads, rotors, drip lines, valves, piping, wiring, controllers, and backflow devices.
• Document service records, material usage, and communicate findings and recommendations to supervisors or customers.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain clean work areas and service vehicles, and assist with other landscape maintenance tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Previous irrigation experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving mindset.
• Ability to follow directions, pay attention to detail, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, kneel, bend, and work outdoors in varying weather.
