Investment Manager

About the role

Omni Bridgeway is seeking an Investment Manager to originate, assess and manage litigation‑related investment assets. The role involves close collaboration with legal experts, financial analysts and the pricing‑and‑structuring team to evaluate case merits, conduct financial analysis and structure funding agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake business, legal and financial analysis of markets and specific cases.
• Conduct due diligence on prospective funding opportunities, including financial and legal review, claimant communication and factual investigations.
• Prepare and negotiate term sheets and funding agreements.
• Present recommendations and submissions to the Investment Committee.
• Monitor funded cases, maintain communication with clients and counsel, and track case progress.
• Ensure compliance with investment budgets and continuously monitor legal and regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Experience in litigation funding, legal asset assessment or related investment analysis.
• Strong understanding of civil and common law legal systems and enforcement mechanisms.
• Proven ability to perform financial modelling and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple funded cases simultaneously.
