Investment Banking Associate – Financial Institutions Group

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Banking Associate to join the Financial Institutions Group within our Banking division. The role involves full‑cycle transactional execution, from preparing marketing pitches and financial analyses to presenting internal memoranda and client presentations. You will work closely with analysts, associates, and senior bankers, gaining exposure to a broad range of transactions and frequent travel.

Key responsibilities

• Develop content for strategic client meetings covering M&A or capital‑market transactions.
• Interact daily with senior team members and client management to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives.
• Define, guide and review detailed valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO models.
• Lead and supervise analysts and associates, providing mentorship and oversight.
• Participate in graduate recruiting activities.

Required profile

• Prior experience in an investment‑banking front‑office role.
• Academic background from a top‑tier educational institution.
• Strong financial‑modeling capabilities.
• Understanding of the transaction cycle and execution‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior professionals, clients and stakeholders.
• Self‑directed, highly motivated and able to work independently.
