Investment Banking Associate – Financial Institutions Group

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join the Financial Institutions Group. The role involves full‑cycle transaction execution, from pitch preparation to client presentations, and offers exposure to high‑profile M&A and capital‑markets deals within a leading global bank.

Key responsibilities

• Develop marketing materials and pitch books for M&A and capital‑markets transactions.
• Perform and review detailed valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO models.
• Prepare internal committee memoranda and client presentations.
• Lead and mentor analysts and junior associates throughout the execution process.
• Collaborate daily with senior bankers and client management teams to discuss strategic alternatives.
• Participate in graduate recruiting activities.

Required profile

• Prior experience in an investment banking front‑office role.
• Academic background from a top‑tier university.
• Strong understanding of the transaction cycle and execution focus.
• Excellent communication skills with senior professionals and clients.
• Self‑directed, highly motivated and able to work independently.
