Inventory Control Specialist

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a detail‑oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and optimise inventory processes for autonomous surface vessel production. The role ensures accurate stock records, supports continuous manufacturing, and protects sensitive materials in a regulated defence environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records in ERP/MRP systems and monitor safety stock, reorder points and material movement.
• Perform regular cycle counts, physical inventories and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal procurement/logistics teams to resolve receiving issues and communicate inventory risks.
• Work with quality control to verify incoming material standards and ensure compliance with defence regulations and security protocols.
• Generate inventory reports, maintain transaction documentation and support audit activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce carrying costs and enhance material visibility.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in inventory management within manufacturing or defence environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP/MRP systems.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
