Interventional Cardiologist – Full‑time Physician

About the role

Ochsner Rush Health in Meridian, MS is seeking a board‑eligible or board‑certified Interventional Cardiologist to join its high‑volume cardiology practice serving East Mississippi and West Alabama. The position offers the chance to work in a multi‑specialty clinic adjacent to a hospital with two cath labs and a hybrid peripheral room.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced interventional procedures such as Impella left ventricular assist device implantation, pulmonary thrombectomy, orbital coronary atherectomy, and ultraviolet laser atherectomy.
• Manage a comprehensive pacemaker program, including standard pacemakers, Micra devices, AICDs, CRT, CardioMEMS, impulse dynamics CCM, and Shockwave coronary lithotripsy.
• Collaborate with a team of interventional cardiologists, non‑invasive cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and anesthesiologists in a high‑volume referral network.
• Participate in teaching activities for the local family medicine residency program.

Required profile

• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Interventional Cardiology (BE/BC).
• J1 waiver accepted.
• Experience with high‑volume cardiac care and advanced interventional techniques.
