International Logistics Manager – 6‑Month Parental Coverage

About the role

The International Logistics Manager will lead the end‑to‑end inbound logistics for both sellable and non‑sellable goods across Louis Vuitton’s North American network during a six‑month parental coverage period. Reporting to the supply chain leadership team, the manager ensures timely delivery, inventory availability and compliance with customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee international inbound logistics for sellable goods sourced from U.S. and French distribution centers, delivering to three U.S. and one Canadian distribution centers.
• Manage logistics flows for non‑sellable goods originating in Asia, Mexico and France.
• Monitor transportation performance, lead times, on‑time delivery and reliability across all shipments.
• Identify and resolve operational issues affecting service, cost, inventory or customs clearance.
• Serve as primary contact for two logistics vendors, building strong day‑to‑day relationships and driving performance improvements.
• Coordinate closely with customs brokers and the customs compliance team to ensure accurate documentation and timely clearance.
• Collaborate with central supply chain, inventory control, distribution centers and other internal stakeholders to align shipment planning and resolve issues.
• Define, track and report key logistics KPIs, and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing international inbound logistics for both sellable and non‑sellable products.
• Experience working with logistics service providers and customs brokers.
• Strong ability to monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Demonstrated capability to coordinate across multiple internal functions and external partners.
