Interior Designer – Contract Furniture Specialist

About the role

Creative Office Resources is seeking a talented Designer to join its fast‑paced, collaborative team. You will work closely with sales, clients, and Miller/Knoll partners to create functional, innovative spaces across commercial, institutional, health‑care, and hospitality environments.

Key responsibilities

• Program and space‑plan projects, including site verification and inventory management.
• Develop product specifications, drawings, and detailed presentations for clients.
• Coordinate with consultants, select fabrics and finish palettes, and support sales teams.
• Participate in specialty groups focused on industry trends, product development, and technology.

Required profile

• BS or BA in Interior Design (FIDER/CIDA accredited preferred).
• High attention to detail, technical proficiency, and ability to manage multiple responsibilities quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of IBC, ADA, MAAAB, and other life‑safety codes.
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills; confident presenting to clients.
• Familiarity with the A&D and commercial interiors industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2018.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with CET, CAP Designer, CAP Worksheet.
• SketchUp experience (preferred).
