About the role

The Institutional Services Assistant provides essential cleaning and maintenance support across campus facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of office buildings, classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, auditoriums, and resident halls.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, common spaces, and other designated campus locations.
• Follow state, federal, and university policies governing custodial work.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department.

Required profile

• Basic education or training sufficient to read and write.
• Relevant experience or job‑related training may substitute for formal education.
• Ability to work independently and follow established cleaning procedures.
