Insider Risk Investigator

About the role

Anthropic is looking for an experienced Insider Risk Investigator to protect its most critical assets – people, data, and infrastructure. The role blends human investigative work with technical analysis to detect, assess, and mitigate insider threats.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging custom technical detection alerts and external threat reports.
• Conducting end‑to‑end insider risk investigations in partnership with IT, Legal, HR, and other teams.
• Interviewing employees and other parties sensitively and effectively.
• Analyzing logs from SIEM, DLP, UEBA, and SOAR platforms.
• Leveraging Anthropic’s AI tools (Claude, Claude Code) to accelerate investigations.
• Documenting investigations and improving related processes.
• Developing and operationalizing insider risk indicators and mitigation strategies.
• Providing rapid security assessments and supporting security awareness programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in insider risk, corporate investigations, or a related domain.
• 3‑5 years of experience conducting investigative interviews.
• At least 1‑2 years of private‑sector experience.
• Proven ability to communicate complex security findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills and capacity to work independently on sensitive cases.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM, DLP, UEBA, and SOAR tools.
• OSINT techniques for threat assessment.
• Use of AI tools such as Claude and Claude Code for data analysis.
• Technical log analysis and documentation.
