Insider Risk Analyst

About the role

SpaceX is looking for a dynamic Insider Risk Analyst to protect its cutting‑edge technologies and intellectual property. You will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment, helping safeguard the company’s assets from insider threats.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive investigations and analysis to protect SpaceX intellectual property and security.
• Collect, triage, and analyze anomalous event data related to data exfiltration, destruction, and other risk indicators.
• Collaborate with Information Security, HR, Legal, Government Security, Physical Security, and external partners on internal investigations.
• Utilize network monitoring, data‑analytic, DLP, SIEM, and UEBA tools to identify suspicious activity and generate actionable insights.
• Extract and organize insider‑threat program data to produce metrics, reports, and case studies.
• Communicate findings promptly to stakeholders and support employee training and briefings.
• Liaise with industry and government partners to benchmark programs and share threat intelligence.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to the insider‑threat program.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to confidentiality, objectivity, and timeliness.
• Experience handling sensitive information, including employee PII and intelligence repositories.
• Proactive attitude toward identifying and mitigating insider‑threat risks.
