Inpatient Neuro Registered Nurse

About the role

The Inpatient Neuro RN provides exceptional patient care within a multidisciplinary team, applying the nursing process and adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code, and Scope & Standards of Practice. This position emphasizes cultural sensitivity, quality outcomes, and alignment with unit strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary groups.
• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while managing resources effectively.
• Use data and knowledge to drive improvements and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management abilities.

• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
