Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Amentum is seeking systems engineering professionals to support systems and software development for the Navy and Marine Corps at Dahlgren, VA and Quantico, VA. You will join a growing systems and software engineering team working across multiple contracts and contributing to Centers of Excellence. Telecommuting availability varies by position and customer, the schedule is mostly a standard workday with possible flexibility for surges, and some travel may be required.

Key responsibilities

• Provide software and software infrastructure support to Navy projects in an Agile environment.
• Perform trade studies to identify directions for infrastructure improvements.
• Use MBSE and IBM DOORS to catalog information.

Required profile

• 0 to 3 years of experience with C, C++ and/or Assembly.
• Active Secret US Government clearance (US citizenship is required).

Preferred qualifications

• Embedded systems development.
• OS skills.
• MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) and modeling.
• DOORS (Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System).
• Docker.
• Trade studies.
